IDP Growth + political limbo = The Unhealthy Malaya

Over the last two months, the Malaysian economy had performed worse than market expectations.

The industrial production index fell sharply across all segments for the second consecutive month in November by 7.7 per cent year-on-year, its steepest since 2001.

Gross exports declined further by 4.9 per cent year-on-year in November as demand for Malaysian goods from major markets that have fallen into recession dissipated and commodity prices plummeted.

In view of the economic downturn, many companies are starting to cut production and minimise losses incurred by freezing recruitment, shortening working hours and even retrenching some staff.

The unemployment rate is expected to go up to 4.7 per cent by 2009 vis-a-vis the official figure of 3.5 per cent, despite the government's target of reducing 400,000 foreign workers annually in Malaysia between now and 2010

With such pressing issues, we have leaders of our dearly beloved Malaya 'indulging' themselves on trivial matters. Perhaps member of parliaments ( not all, but a few, and good heavens we know them) prefer sitting down, dining, drinking wine , karaoke-ing, getting a piece of the cherry and pops it or getting it popped rather than doing anything in saving the beats of economical aid we can have.

With the abundance of resources, we could deviate from the impending economic doom. Yes, with no political stability, there is no assurance of good governance. However, interest of the people first dearly elected member of Parliaments. And please MPs, those whom have promise with abundance of sweetness and hope, convey them for your covenant is important. In the words or Che Guevara " Words that do not match deeds are unimportant " ....

The monopoly capitalists - even while employing purely empirical methods - weave around art a complicated web which converts it into a willing tool. The superstructure of society ordains the type of art in which the artist has to be educated. Rebels are subdued by its machinery and only rare talents may create their own work. The rest become shameless hacks or are crushed. - Ernesto Che Guevara

I end this post with this for us to ponder, think, and think, and think and thus analyze. "The rise of Islam offers the most impressive example in world history of the power of words to alter human behavior in sudden, surprising ways, in politics, economy and a flawless legal system "
