The holidays were nothing but sensational.. The attachment was great, the nights of hanging out, the arranged dates my dear friends set up ( which i found amusing, funny, fun and pocket-shrinking, wood work at M's house and bread pudding) and the list goes on and on.. Save the taxing and energy, i soon placed myself in my own la-la land.

Just moments before stepping into la-la land ( no booze and weeds here, haven't tried) i was 'forcefully interjected into reality when High Chappral came into light. Taking into account my holidays are ending , and non-partisan cum activist friends are around, i took the time to read up the whole issue. Legally speaking, nothing can be done bout Kampung Buah Pala except for the residets to accept the compensation money by the developers.

perhaps it is more wise for the DAP to learn in depth about making promises and fullfiling them. The sentiments really boil down not the lands being taken away, at least that is not the paramount factor, but the promises unkept. The whole fiasco cum rendezvous could have been easily avoided if Mr. LIM (i foud it amusing a bank in Penang hang up his pictures and in gold-colour plated was written Tuan Lim )had not made such promises to the indian folks of High Chappral. Legally, nothing could be done. But, to blame BN in toto is ridiculous. The developers had agreed for compensation money worth RM 200 K . It is a simple rule of do not make a covenant if one can keep it.

But, High Chappral aside, it is sad to see Penang had not seen any development since the take over. And Lim's Tiger Park, is nonsensical and was bombarded by Penanggites. We need no Tiger Park, but what we do need in time for the impending economic recession are jobs and investors. Unless, it is the top-notch idea of Lim that Tigers could generate money, i find Mr Lim a man who only knows about opposing and know nothing about good governance. Penang, i see , is the only state as yet begging the Federal for money. At least, in Selangor, bussinesses are running.

One Malaysia is not only a good notion, but has elevated the current leading government to shun away from the dogma of racial politics. A reform , i here stress that it is a reality reform, has made it clear that BN is progressing forward.

Let us see, Penang in the near future. But, having said that, i have to say Malaysians in Malaysia do enjoy the basic freedom of practising ones own religion without prejudiced and oprression. The Uighurs minorities are not only exploited and oprressed, the death tolls are rising and the blood-shed continues. Perhaps, this would be one lesson for us Malaysians and Muslims to bear in mind, keep and protect what we have in our hands and let not it go the rest..

In recent years, Singapore has acquired a reputation as a country where lawsuits are used against political opponents of the ruling party, in some cases leading to situations where the accused face bankruptcy due to the costs of the legal proceedings. To be as honest as i can be, such a reputation can be attributed to Dictator Kuan Yew

In the ongoing case, Singaporeans were preoccupied with a three-day court hearing in May for the Lees’ defamation suit against Chee, whose Singapore Democratic Party newsletter was charged with defaming them as key figures in the government. The publication had compared the furore over the disclosure of the huge sums of money that the executives of the non-profit National Kidney Foundation (NKF) were earning, with what it called unjustifiably high salaries of government officials. "It is impossible not to notice the striking resemblance between how the NKF operated and how the PAP [People’s Action Party] runs Singapore," the newsletter said in February 2006.

Despite its economic success, local and international civil rights groups have criticized the government for cracking down hard on dissenters and political activists. Street protests are rare and public gatherings of five people or more are banned without a police permit. Singapore represents itself as a democracy with the rule of law and a good place to live and do business. But Singapore is a bully and its strong-arm tactics against critics, domestic or foreign, is unrecognized by the rest of the world, thanks to its carefully crafted public relations strategy designed to show the city-state as a model of government, democracy, economic development and the rule of law.

In 2004, Martyn See directed a documentary on Dr. Chee called Singapore Rebel. It was supposed to be screened at the Singapore International Film Festival but was forced to be withdrawn from the festival and later banned by the Singapore government because of its political content. Singapore's Film Act forbids the production and distribution of "party political" films, which are defined as films "made by any person and directed towards any political ends in Singapore". Martyn See agreed to surrender the film on 29 August 2005 along with his video camera, though he still faces the threat of prosecution. Despite the Singapore government's efforts to stop the distribution of such a documentary, the documentary is available on the Internet

Lee Kuan Yew vs Islam
This is the same man who talk on democracy and forbid Muslim schoolgirls from wearing the hijab at school. This is not only a crime against religion but a crime against human rights. An ‘essence’ of what this man claim to advocate for. I guess he is to smart compared to our Opposition leaders. They are in need of him to enlighten them to be ‘proper’ human beings. How can Kuan yew claim that the Chinese here are being mistreated when the Malays in Singapore are treated like 2nd class citizens. Here, in Malaysia, all races are given their equal religious rights. And, this is vested in Article 11 of our Constitution.

Kuan Yew is full of cock and bull. For a person who believes and advocates for human rights and constantly criticizes Malaysia for being a ‘democracy bully’ , he had himself in his capacity as a Premier and a Senior Minister strip the very foundation of democracy in his country. On March 15, 2008, Chee Soon Juan and 17 others were arrested at a demonstration held outside Parliament and later charged with unlawful assembly. The trial began on October 23, 2008.Fortunately, a team of lawyers, led by Canadian law firm Amsterdam & Peroff in Toronto, has been set up in order to help Dr. Chee defend himself in court and to embarrass Singapore before the world for its failure to uphold the rule of law. The team is headed by Bob Amsterdam (who defended Mikhail Khodorovsky and other high-profile Russians against the oppressive Putin regime), UK defamation expert Anthony Julius (who represented Lady Di) and American law professor William Burke-White.

2006 bankruptcy and contempt of court

On 10 February 2006, Chee was declared a bankrupt by the High Court, after failing to pay S$500,000 in damages awarded to Goh and Lee in the 2001 defamation lawsuit. Upon this bankruptcy order, Chee will not be allowed to stand for elections until February 2011.

On 24 February 2006, Singapore attorney-general filed contempt of court charges against Chee for refusing to answer court's questions and criticising the Singapore judiciary during a bankruptcy petition hearing on February 10. Later, Chee was sentenced to a day in jail and a fine of $6,000, but he failed to pay the fine and was jailed for an additional seven days. He was released on 24 March 2006.

In April 2006, Chee was stopped at the airport as he was preparing to board a flight to Istanbul. He is currently facing a charge for attempting to leave the country without official approval, which he was required to seek as a bankrupt.

Dr Chee Soon Juan

But, it is crucial and thus of paramount importance to know Dr. Chee Soon Juan. And it is highly important for the Opposition Leaders to meet him too. If they can learn from he Tyrant Lee, they can be as humble to meet their counterpart, Dr. Chee , as he is, afterall, an opposition in Spore. Well, sometimes opposition Leaders do need enlightenment.

Dr. Chee Soon Juan is the Secretary-General of the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP).

Chee is a neuropsychologist and received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 1990. He joined SDP in 1992 and became the Secretary-General of SDP, replacing founder Chiam See Tong who left to join the Singapore People's Party. Chee has been convicted and imprisoned several times. Chee lost a defamation lawsuit filed by PAP leaders in 2001. Chee was declared bankrupt in 2006 when he failed to pay the damages. He is in jail at present for contempt of court. He has since been released and will be contesting to be the next Prime Minister in Singapore.

Chee was Honorary Research Associate at the Monash Asia Institute in 1997 and at the University of Chicago in 2001. In 2004, he participated in the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Program at the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington, D.C.. He is the Chairman of the Alliance for Reform & Democracy in Asia, and was a Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellow at the Washington-based National Endowment for Democracy (2004)[1]. He participated in many international organisations such as World Movement for Democracy and the Forum of Democratic Leaders in the Asia Pacific. He was the recipient of the Defender of Democracy Award 2003 given by the Parliamentarians for Global Action.(wiki, 2009)

NKF scandal

On 21 April 2006, Chee rejected an offer by Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan to call for a Commission of Inquiry to look into his ministry's handling of the NKF Scandal, instead he asked the government to stop all their 'wayang'. This came after the former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and his son, the current Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong had demanded an apology from SDP (including Chee) for their slanderous remarks on the NKF in the latest issue of its party newspaper, The New Democrat. In it, SDP insinuated that the government was run like the NKF, and had covered up the infamous NKF Scandal that had rocked Singapore, suggesting corruption at the highest level.

The SDP, its 12 members and its printer, Sum Kwai Lum trading as Melodies Press Company, had until 10am April 25, to respond to the demands for an apology. This apology, according to the text set out in the letters of demand, was to be published in two local dailies on April 27, failing which both leaders would sue all parties involved. But the SDP announced ahead of time they would not be apologising. However, currently all members of the SDP and the printer have apologised except Chee Soon Juan and his sister Chee Siok Chin.
The defamation lawsuit by the PAP leaders Lee Kuan Yew, Lee Hsien Loong and Goh Chok Tong, against Chee, his sister and the SDP for insinuating that the government was run like the NKF is ongoing.

In July 2005, a scandal involving the charity broke out following the collapse of a defamation trial which it brought against Susan Long and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). This caused a massive backlash and fallout of donors to the charity, and subsequently resulted in the resignation of Chief Executive Officer T.T Durai and its board of directors.

Allegations surrounding the scandal included the false declarations on how long NKF's reserves could last, its number of patients, installation of a golden tap in Durai's private office suite, his salary, use of company cars and first-class air travel. Former NKF patron Tan Choo Leng, wife of Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, sparked further outrage when she remarked that T.T Durai's pay of "S$600,000 a year is peanuts".

President of the National Council of Social Services, Gerard Ee, has since been appointed as interim chairman of the organisation. A full independent audit on its finances was conducted by KPMG, and a 442-page report released on 19 December 2005 revealed several malpractices by the former NKF board and management. This led to an investigations into the affairs of the charity by the Commercial Affairs Department of the Singapore Police Force . On 17 April 2006, Durai was arrested and charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau.

Dr Chee “I survive financially by selling books. I peddle them on the street. I was trained in academia but after I joined the opposition in 1992 I was sacked and since then nobody will want to work with me. They are frightened of guilt by association,” he said.
He was fired by a person who was a Member of Parliament with the ruling party.
“When I said my sacking was politically motivated, he sued me for defamation. I went to court, lost and the court awarded damages of US$350,000. My wife and I sold our house, car and everything to pay this fine,” he said.

Another two defamation lawsuits resulted in US$400,000 in fines after Dr. Chee raised questions about Singapore’s secret financial support for the corrupt Suharto regime in Indonesia.
“The significance of those cases was we didn’t even go to trial. It was a summary judgment, decided by the judge in chambers without any right to cross examine,” he said.
“A third case in 2006 was a defamation lawsuit by former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and his son, the current Prime Minister, over an article written in our party’s newspaper. Fines were huge [US$610,000] and the judgment was delivered in the judge’s chambers again.”
When Dr. Chee criticized this, the judge said this constituted contempt of court and jailed him this June for 12 days. And his failure to pay fines will also result in more contempt convictions and imprisonment.

We can see here clearly, Kuan Yew, had not a single right to criticized Malaysia, when there is blatant clear-cut case where he intefered the Singaporean Judiciary.
Dr. Chee did apply permit to hold peaceful demonstration but this was denied. At least here in Malaysia, there are times where peaceful demos are allowed. The Senior Minister should be learning from us shouldnt he. Bearing in our mind the violation of democracy committed upon learned and respected Singaporeans.

Kuan yew Dictator who run Spore prison

There is still detention witout trial in Singapore, all thanks to Kuan Yew. He had in fact used his ‘fist’ to enforced tyranny in Singapore.
On December 3, 2006, after the doctor at the Queenstown Remand Prison had found traces of blood in Dr Chee's urine, he was admitted to Changi General Hospital. On 10 December 2006, about a dozen of Chee's supporters, including Chee's family and his sister Chee Siok Chin, held a protest march starting at the Speakers' Corner in Singapore and ending at Queenstown Remand Prison where Chee was incarcerated.Several foreign non-government organisations released statements expressing concerns about Chee's health and treatment in prison.

Well, nothing more could be added to such well-put and perfected view. Kuan yew, i do hope you read Tun's comment. A person who had read law at Cambridge could at least comprehend Tun's cynic words if the Opposition could not. Well, why not put the brains to good use, for just this one moment, dear Opposition Leaders.

I on Kuan Yew
He is a profound man who leads with his fist in the most classic style. He dictates Spore and hids his atrocities. I give him credits not only for being cunning and a master of vices, but to convince our opposition leaders to craze for him. He had negatived the idiom where a blind cannot lead a blind. Well, such followers are inadequate of knowledge ; we cannot but help feel sorry for them.
I am not here to advocate for Democracy, but I do believe that if a country is going to declare itself a Democracy they should at least offer the basic freedoms it necessitates. There can be no fair election when the opposition cannot be heard. There can be no free people when their voices are silenced. I wish Dr. Chee great success in his movement and hope that those in powerful positions will hear his cry.

Chin Peng ; get lost

I was appalled and aghast by the statement made by the Gerakan Presiden. By, I vehemently believe the notion made by him is known but nothing pertinent. I would say bovine stupidity, if I am allowed to be somewhat audacious, is his mind.

The call of wanting Chin Peng back is nothing mundane. Having said that, I would also be articulate in saying that he heinous crimes toward the country cannot be forgotten. Forgiven ? I would leave that in a closet or at the very least, to the forgiving old veterans whom fought against their atrocities.

Yes, I acknowledge PKM fought against the British. But, I also know of this fact, PKM did want to topple the government and bring communism to this country. Put aside their crimes, such ideology does not fit the locality and geographical atmosphere of this country.

If we were to analyze and go through the arguments raised by the ‘benign’ advocates of Chin Peng, we find them baseless and with not merits. If issues of compassion and sensitivity were put forward, where were those virtues in Chin Peng when he ran over the country killing off innocent citizens and rampaging this beloved nation of ours. It is a good point to note, Chin Peng had committed those crime regardless of race. Even Chinese Malaysians, were executed and tortured.

Therefore, I am against Chin Peng coming back to Malaysia. But, I do would like him to come back. Not to be given pardon, but to face the punishments for his crimes. Perhaps, this where ISA would best fit the purpose as ISA has retrospective clauses. Parliament can enact laws with retrospective effect

Henceforth, With respect I do not think there is merit in the arguments laid by the injudicious , foolish and imprudent ‘ unqualified advocates of Chin Peng’ but support the call made by the PM. His decision is truly wise.

To Chin Peng, I have to say, please be gone and get lost. We do not need a criminal like you here.

Dilema

It has been long since I pen down anything in this blog. Doing an attachment is not a formidable excuse, but it puts my hand elsewhere. Safe it is to say my hands are only on clerical work and research.

The new attachment is great and fun. Having said that, everyone save myself supports the opposition. Oh well, affiliation is everyone’s prerogative rights.

I was browsing through my learned brother’s write up on Penanti ( Aizat ) and I have to say the dilemma and predicament facing the Malays are pretty hefty, We are divided into to many factions ; political beliefs being the utmost defect. It is proud for me to say that now the Malays are polished and our minds are opened. However, we face an impending doom of us being not united. We tend to tender to miniscule matters and neglecting, over-looking the fact that we are being watched and attacked silently.

On a larger scale, have we ponder that the immensity of we being a fallback in economy. I am not disputing in anyways the successful Malay entrepreneurs, but, let us compare the hanful that we have to the magnanimous counterparts.

If peoples interest are the main priority of the opposition, why put on stake the interest of those in need of them. Perak, should had it been followed closely, the people are manipulated GREATLY THAT THEY BECOME THE PAWNS OF THE ridiculed.

If ketuanan rakyat is the proclaimed message and message intended, why the allocation seems to favour only side of Malaysians. We are all Bangsa Malaysia , equality should be the grounds in any economical aspects. Why the PR led government in Perak seems to favour granting land to Bangsa Malaysia keturunan Cina. The Indians and the Malays are being left. Wher one realizes it , that is a complete different but crucial subject.

I do not mind the land are given to the Bangsa Malaysia berketurunan Cina. An aspect we can learn greatly in them is their willingness to work and their productivity. The working excellence is above par and knowing truly, would make us love their effort and character.

But, it has to be noted here, PR is doing well in states like Selangor and Kedah. Thumbs up for that.

Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia

With only 15 Parliament seats in mostly Malay majority areas as opposed to DAP's 28 Parliament seats in Chinese populated areas, it would be correct to say that DAP is the voice of the Chinese people.-Malaysia kini-

I would have to say that there is some truth in the statement. But, most paramount of all, it is a dire need that Malaysian Chinese ought to first learn and understand the national language. I am giving a mere general statement and acknowledge that there are a handful which do understand and converse well, despite having half a century of Independence.

Chinese schools had to survive mainly on public donations. If so, then go to a national school. With better qualified teachers and facilities your children could learn better. I am against sekolah jenis kebangsaan not on the grounds of racism, but more on patriotism. one could still learn their mother tongue in national school. There should be only one mainstream, the national school. However, what is there to complain, and what is in the essence for a whimp, the Government still do donate cash and let the school run.

Walaupun kita fikir bila mereka hendak sekolah Cina dibantu, kita bantu, sepatutnya mereka membalas budi...macam tidak ada penghargaan terhadap apa yang kita lakukan'.Mahyuddin.

First, let me see, this is bahasa malaysia. I doubt the English language has such vocabularies in their dictionary; these monkeys lack senses in their mind. With special referrence to Michael, Richard Teo and Yum whom had written and gave their 'ungrounded' opinions in an article in Malaysiakini. I am not here to say that i am a Pro Barisan supporter. But, it is essential for them to also put in their neurons it is much wiser to keep silent and be presumed a fool than talk and be proven one. And yes, this is English. Having learn Jurisprudence, a qoute from Thomas would be just nice to give a good taste of medicine on these individuals " Nihil est in intellectu quod non fuerit prius in sensu" ; nothing is first in the intellect that is not first in the senses. I vehemently believe, they lack both, sad but true..

These few individuals could gave their opinions on nearly anything under the sun, but, they forbid another to do so. Where is the freedom of thoughts gentlemen? Rather one sided dont you think so.. It is also essential for one to look carefully into the DPM's statement. That, i leave to you.

i was very shocked as to see these 5 men released from ISA. ISA draconian as it may be, still has its relevance in modern times. Right to be heard is essential, yes, i agree, but, if proven one is a threat to national security, why not just have it?

oh well, back to these 5 machas.. I would applaud the government's call as to set them free, either it is a political strategy or a kind gesture, that would be up for ones interpretation. Though, i would be concurring with the former.

But, all in all, we can now see, there is a few liberalization and less draconian-ism. If one is to propound that dictatorship is back, i would be of the opinion that is not, at least not yet and do hope not.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad mengambil langkah luar dugaan apabila bersedia turun berkempen membantu calon BN Ismail Saffian, Ahad ini.

Mantan perdana menteri dijadual menemui pengundi di Taman Kaya atau Taman Kota Jaya dalam DUN Changkat Jering.

in a very presidented and wise move Tun came down too woo voters to cast their votes for BN. I cant help but say Vunderva. Is a time of the year where i could say, BN has really buck up and now potraying a stronger image.

The fight against Nizar wont be easy as he was afterall the 'fallen MB' of Perak. But, as it is, with great speakers and calls for a change in UMNO, i reckon, BN might or in fact guive an edge. a good cutting edge i must say.

Perak would be an epic case where the oppostion fell, but, these elections' results will at the very least potray peoples beliefs in BN or PR. But, either ways, this would not be the yardstick to see peoples support. But, as a whole, these elections would be an advantage for BN to show their revolutionised ideas and works.

Aku terbaca blog chedet yang menceritakan tentang Melayu. Maka, aku fikir untuk blog kali ini, aku akan menulis dalam Bahasa Melayu.

Dulu orang Melayu tuan di tanah sendiri. Orang pendatang dan pedagang tunduk dan hormat hinggakan bahasa indah ini menjadi lingua franca di serata dunia. Meskipun, 84 bahasa dipertuturkan di pelabuhan Melaka, bahasa Melayu masih menjadi bahasa utama.

Dulu orang Melayu merantau ke serata dunia, menjadi ambassador ke negara asing. Majunya Melayu kedengaran dari Nuusantara hingga ke Venice dan Pulan Ryukyu.

Dulu, bahasa kita di pelajari, tamadun kita di dimahsyurkan, adat kita di tuntut, dan adab kita menjadi cakapan dan contoh.Dulu, Melayu gah dan Melayu sememangnya tuan di tanah sendiri. Pada masa, orang Melayu imannya kuat, tali pegangan pada Allah utuh,bijak pandai dan berani.

Kini, nama Melayu makin pudar. Bangsanya di-injak-injak. Orangnya dipandang lemah, sehinggakan orang lain bisa memperkotak-katikan bangsanya. Orang luar madah orang Melayu tidak bijak dan korup. Bahasanya makin dipinggirkan. Ekonomi kita dirampas atas kesilapan kita sendiri dan kelemahan kita. Yang masih ada pada kita hanyalah kuasa politik, dan itupun makin hilang dari genggaman kita. I am listening to song which i find difficulty searching the title. Fell in love with it when i watch Definitely, maybe. A box of Marlboro is accompanying me.

it is a gloomy afternoon.. The sun is not shining as it always do. The flowers are blooming beautifully and the grass are evergreen. The mood changes today. Everything goes slow and birds are chirping. The sound so intrinsic and wonderful. I am sipping a cup of coffee and inhaling my red Marly.

But, the night before, was one of the nights i would think i made a move of which i had full conviction. It is not about me being whom i am not and me having any other intentions. At least not that night and not now. What lies ahead is something i cannot foresee and know. That night was me being concerned, me being who i am, much as i know what may be installed ahead of me. I did what i wanted not because of i wanted to be stubborn, but because i was deeply concerned. I know such actions would be 'detrimental' to me. But, at times the heart is worth following. Much needed attention to.

That would definitely,maybe be my last. Though, i very much doubt that. It is difficult when being concern would be construed as to being too concerned. A gesture would be defined as an affection. But, even so, i still find myself sure of what i am doing. i am firmed as to say that I am doing what i should have done as a friend.

PPSMI detained?

The most outrageous call from the police force. Malaysiakini has reported that these individuals will be questioned. Much as it is said as such, the outcomes is usually is these individuals will be detained.

But, procedurally speaking, publishing their names on mass media is procedurally wrong. The police should have issued the notices to these individuals privately. Second, in any events, taking these brave men behind bars is in violation of fundamental rights. These men and the rest of those whom had attended the gathering were mere doing a peaceful demonstration. Permits for such demonstration, may not have been given, but at the end of the day, how many permits have been issued really?

If ht e demos were conducted by the GOV, permits are issued most instantaneously. But, here, whenever non-gov or at the very least to show disapproval of the gov, these permits are never issued. even if such issuance were given, the permits are revoked either on the day before or on the day itself.

Assalamualaikum, may this letter reach you in the best of health. I am never goods with words and to speak in Bahasa Malaysia is not difficult, but in expressing my feelings in the national language I truly find difficulties ; even in the midst of PPSMI.
So here goes. Kimi, you have always been my brother, always am and always will, inshaALLAH. In time when I traverse through wrong path and roads, you were always there to advice in the wisest manner and most effective way. For that, I am greatly indebted to you.
I am shameful of myself and whenever I think again, I was never there where you are down to give you support and be there to give a helping hand. Life has it many mischievous tricks, off which I fell into its traps, sadly and unfortunately.
My sincerest and deepest apologies for the time I have been forgetful and for times not being there. Sentimental as this letter may sound, that is another reflection of me. True, our wittings best reflect whom we are.
And again, after not being there for you, you were there especially this semester to get my foot back to the path I should traverse and walk in spite of being in absence in times you were in need of friends. But Allah is kind, He blessed with you with friends and brothers. You know who they are better than I do. Allah is there always for His faithful servants such as you.
In this letter, much as I may and can thank you, in reality words of gratitude and thanks are insufficient. However, knowing you, and yes I know, among all friends that I have you know me best, you will humbly say it’s your responsibly and give thanks to Allah. You are a friend who knows my darkest ebbs, times when I’m down, troubled and blue. But, I do know for some surety, I may and in fact do not know you as well as you know me. The industrial production index fell sharply across all segments for the second consecutive month in November by 7.7 per cent year-on-year, its steepest since 2001.

I admire Miss Elizabeth Wong for having tendered his resignation over the nude photographs which are being circulated. Having tendered her resignation, like Chua, she has shown to the rakyat that she is committed to the people and under the code of ethic and morality she stood down in line with PR mode of politics having respect for morality.

However, a point to be noted, PR leader must accept her resignation. Yes, three of their men under shameful act of having no stand or lalang left the part and loosing Eli would be a hit to them, still by doing so PR would gain morality and respect of the people. The dilemma facing and infecting our culture is off party hoping. Or at least that is one of the most prevalent views.

But, let me put forth a few of my opinions on this 'dilemma'. The parties in Malaysia is very unique unlike other political parties in the rest of the continents. Each part with their own ideologies ranging from a move towards an Islamic nation, racial politics, equality etc. That would perhaps had such hoping, other than the issue of popularity.

But, moving and departing from this, I would like to narrow the issue towards a different light- the issue of deliverance.

MPs has in the past and present gave a million and one promises. But, sadly and surely their promises remain promises unfulfilled. Well, i must say these are the the ardent and faithful followers of the principle ' Promises are meant to be broken". My applause. Job well done pessimist leaders of the school of the "Un-thought"

My appraisal to MPs whom promise and delivered. Salute. But, my insincere condolences to discourteous MPs who do otherwise. Shame on you.

I am not against Party Hopping. Right to affiliation is vested in the constitution.

I will say something though. It is high time for leaders to sit on a round table
discussing on the impeding economic downturn. That is by far the cardinal importance of the country's future.

Putting that as agenda number two is equivalent as being a fool.The future and good governance of the country is the main objective of the leaders of this soil, isn't it not. So is the future of Gaza. The issue is not whether the attacks are debatable and mootable rightly or wrongly. But, the imperative move is to unite. EC Decides Changkat Jering And Behrang Not Vacant

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- The Election Commission today decided that the Perak State Legislative Assembly seats for Changkat Jering (N14) and Behrang (N58) are not vacant as they are still held by the incumbent Assemblymen.

Its Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusuf, said this was because the EC found that there were doubts over the letters of resignation from Mohd Osman Jailu as the Assemblyman for Changkat Jering and Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi as the Assemblyman for Behrang.

"The EC had looked into the matter thoroughly from the various legal aspects and hereby inform that there are doubts over the resignation letters by the incumbent Assemblymen for the two seats.

"It is also in view of the fact that both Assemblymen have consciously confirmed that both letters are not authorised," he told reporters here.

As such, he said, the EC could not exercise the power under Article 36 (5) of the Perak State Constitution in determining that there were casual vacancies.

Earlier at 11am, Abdul Aziz chaired a special meeting of the commission which lasted almost two hours to discuss the issue following the announcement by Perak State Assembly Speaker V. Sivakumar in a statement that Jamaluddin and Mohd Osman had submitted their letters of resignation as State Assemblymen for Behrang and Changkat Jering respectively on Sunday.

On the other hand, Jamaluddin, in a two-page statement which was distrbuted to the media yesterday denied that he had sent the letter to Sivakumar vacating the seat as had been reported.

Jamaluddin said the report was baseless and he also denied that he had absconded but was on medical leave since last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Mohd Osman lodged a police report at the Shah Alam Police Headquarters through a representative on the issue concerning the seat vacancy.

At the press conference here, Abdul Aziz had confirmed receiving two letters, one from Sivakumar and the other from Jamaluddin and Mohd Osman yesterday.

Tracing history as far as miles could go, i could not but help listening to elder generations whom have have always quoted ' u know young man, Pak Ali missed those day when Muthu, Chong and Pak Ali would go to the river and bathe together and had not a single sentiment amongst us'

Looking and pondering upon this, i came to a standstill (every so often) that there was a time in history there was no racial sentiments. Everyone seems to be happy mixing and cordially talking to one another with the most fond of love.

But, as wheel has its ups and downs so is the life and turn over that is faced by the younger generation; our generation really.

There are times i ponder the crux of the problem Does racial sentiment exist due to the kiasu attitude, the deceits and putar-belit norms or the rights and privileges that some enjoy ( though in truth many of its have been stripped off and abused by corrupted and wine deranged buffoons ).

an hour discussion on this would not only produce a million reasons and a billion solutions, but a pathetic and disappointing implementation.

I adore the Baba and Nyonya as they speak fluent and conversant Bahasa Malaysia. And, we still find some others who find speaking in Bahasa passe and nausea-tic ( kindly note there is no such thing in the God save the Queen language as nausea-tic)
If the in Indonesia we find the non-Malays speaks Bahasa so jolly good well, even better to a certain extend in comparison to Malay in our soil. My dearly beloved soil,Malaysia.

This come from a very disheartening event where Mr A as Malaysian, could hardly speak in Bahasa. Then i asked him, were you abroad all this while? in a very cynical and sarcastic manner he replied nope, is just i find Bahasa is off no use. I was first mad and furious, but showing anger and punch on the face is not at all the custom of a Malay. So, i 'smack' him in a more gentlemanly style and replied ' my, what a shame, you ought to change your citizenship. After all, in this economic uncertainty, having you off another planet would be a blessing. Indeed, at the end of the day, if you dont love the national language why enjoy pillaging its resources' ( well, the thing is, being sarcastic is not hard at all for me, it was in fact a service i provide for free and a leisure i splendidly enjoy). Mr A turn red and was rather furious. Avoiding conflicts and unnecessary battery, i became a man of a few words and walked off after a au grande cynical smile.

As walk, i lit up my Marlboro ( and yes, i am a smoker trying to quit - say TAK NAK) and keep on bogging on my mind whether to blog this. I guess, you know the answer.

And yes while writing this (typing would be the appropriate word) blog, i'm having a cup of coffee and tuning to ABBA compilations.

Campus Election UIA

It is to my disappointment that the campus politics in UIA has become rather unbecoming and has in every way 'blacken and darken' the spirit of the university

Newsletter distributed for sympathy votes and accusing and defaming student bodies has shown to us the characters of our future leaders. Looking back at the establishment of the university, it was built with the spirit, vision and mission of building up a Muslim character in its students( in English, students are university students, which many of us have misunderstood it by defining it to be pupils). Back the election has given us a thorough picture of student bodies claiming to unite for Islam instead has very much went against its principles.

i have to be nothing but honest on this issue. First, let me make my stand clear clear before having faced with unnecessary remarks. My stand is one and only one, for an Islamic state and the unity of the ummah. As far as other prevalent issues are concern, my blog will best define me. But, i am against any student bodies who claims to fight for the unity of the Ummah and welfare of the students, instead has only gave empty sweet promises and delivering them.

The student body, whom have resorted to playing or perhaps maneuvered politics is the most unsettling manner, have on many occasions wrote on Aspirasi and latest PKPIM. i am not a member of PKPIM nor Aspirasi. i deny such affliations vehemently!!!
But, being a student here and having watched these arena, neither of these two groups have defame this particular student body.

I am not here to say that this 'student body" have not creadible leaders. By God, they do and some of them could work well. I have to speak fairly as I am a Muslim first and blogger second. However, attitudes and approaches towards unhealthy poltics should not be the avenue or even a path we students in UIA opt to take.

Ponder upon this, we read and learnt many scholarly articles on being at the very least a Muslim with value. What is the point of winning if we loose our value? is it that worthwhile just for the sake of winning, backbitting, letters of defamation and dirty politics are to inter-twain? perhaps it is to some, but then again it is the fight for students that is important not fighting them!!!

Francisco I. Madero

Madero set out campaigning across the country and everywhere he was met by tens of thousands of cheering supporters. Finally, in June 1910, the Porfirian regime had him arrested in Monterrey and sent to a prison in San Luis Potosí. Approximately 5,000 other members of the Anti-Reelectionist movemnt were also jailed. Francisco Vázquez Gómez took over the nomination, but during Madero's time in jail, Díaz was "elected" as president with an electoral vote of 196 to 187.

Madero's father used his influence with the state governor and posted a bond to gain Madero the right to move about the city on horseback during the day. On October 4, 1910, Madero galloped away from his guards and took refuge with sympathizers in a nearby village. He was then smuggled across the U.S. border, hidden in a baggage car by sympathetic railway workers.

Madero set up shop in San Antonio, Texas, and quickly issued his Plan of San Luis Potosí, which had been written during his time in prison, partly with the help of Ramón López Velarde. The Plan proclaimed the elections of 1910 null and void, and called for an armed revolution to begin at 6 p.m. on November 20, 1910, against the illegitimate presidency/dictatorship of Díaz. At that point, Madero would declare himself provisional President of Mexico, and called for a general refusal to acknowledge the central government, restitution of land to villages and Indian communities, and freedom for political prisoners.

On November 20, 1910, Madero arrived at the border and planned to meet up with 400 men raised by his uncle Catarino to launch an attack on Ciudad Porfirio Díaz (modern-day Piedras Negras, Coahuila). However, his uncle showed up late and brought only ten men. As such, Madero decided to postpone the revolution. Instead he and his brother Raúl (who had been given the same name as his late brother) traveled incognito to New Orleans, Louisiana.

In February 1911 he entered Mexico and led 130 men in an attack on Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. He spent the next several months as the head of the Mexican Revolution. Madero successfully imported arms from the United States, with the American government under William Howard Taft doing little to halt the flow of arms to the Mexican revolutionaries. By April, the Revolution had spread to eighteen states, including Morelos where the leader was Emiliano Zapata.

On April 1, 1911, Porfirio Díaz claimed that he had heard the voice of the people of Mexico, replaced his cabinet, and agreed to restitution of the lands of the dispossessed. Madero did not believe Díaz and instead demanded the resignation of President Díaz and Vice President Ramón Corral. Madero then attended a meeting with the other revolutionary leaders – they agreed to a fourteen-point plan which called for pay for revolutionary soldiers; the release of political prisoners; and the right of the revolutionaries to name several members of cabinet. Madero was moderate, however. He believed that the revolutionaries should proceed cautiously so as to minimize bloodshed and should strike a deal with Díaz if possible. In May, Madero wanted a ceasefire, but his fellow revolutionaries Pascual Orozco and Francisco Villa disagreed and went ahead with an attack on Ciudad Juárez. The revolutionaries won this battle decisively and on May 21, 1911, the Treaty of Ciudad Juárez was signed.

Under the terms of the Treaty of Ciudad Juárez, Díaz and Corral agreed to resign by the end of May 1911, with Díaz's Minister of Foreign Affiars, Francisco León de la Barra, taking over as interim president solely for the purpose of calling general elections.

This first phase of the Mexican Revolution thus ended with Díaz leaving for exile in Europe at the end of May 1911. On June 7, 1911, Madero entered Mexico City in triumph where he was greeted with huge crowds shouting "Viva Madero!

No Unity if there is Chinese School

First of all, let me make myself clear, I am not a racist. But,the talk on National School and vocational ought to be discussed with an open mind, after all, the people demand everyone to have an open mind.

National School is the only way to achieve unity( this includes Islamic School). Having vocational will only hinder this. We are not suppressing the rights of Dong Jiao Zhong or any other bodies and races, but claiming to have 50 years of Independence and yet we find not all Malaysian could speak fairly in Bahasa Malaysia very alarming and distressing. On a more strong tone, humiliating. It is sad and despicable to be called a Malaysian and yet know not how to speak the national language.

It is therefore, imperative to have only national schools where other races could learn their mother tongue through extra classes. Putting a ban or total shut on vocational school will bar the other races to speak their dialects. But, the fact of the matter is, this is the way for unity and again having 50 years of freedom still the sense of racism still in the air and and racial segregation is not making this country any better.

Henceforth, injecting 50 mill to chinese schoool is not a good move. in fact, this money ought and perhaps must be injected to National Schools as the students here deserve better facilities and educational 'utilities' .

Earlier, in his speech, Najib said Malaysia practised the concept of “democratisation of education,” in which everyone should be given a minimum 11 years of quality school education.

He added that Malaysia was unique as unlike Indonesia or Thailand, Malaysians could choose his or her own type of school to go to.

“While this presents its own set of challenges and complexities, the basis of educational democracy is strong,” he added.

Is it really necessary to fund Chinese school? Perhaps funding it weighs more than defending our national language. If fund can be made towards Chinese school why it is nearly impossible to maintain the learning of Science and Mathematics in Bahasa Malaysia. Why scrap of Malay literature from the syllabus? Is it wise for for a political party championing to fight for the Malays but have instead take off the national language from schools and have taken initiative to fund non-national schools. This is to me not a good step towards national integration and unity. PONDER upon this...

I have pity on the author who has taken a very liberate approach and has lost perhaps most of his senses. And, oh yes, his quality of being sensible not to forget.

Such audacity is not to be admired at all and his blatant statements manifested with error ought to be criticized nevertheless. However, a point has to be noted that the author has not lost his sense of empathy.

Yes, i would agree it had been 60 years but in those 60 years how many Muslim leaders were there as to protect the rights of the Palestinians. Being a reader of law, he ought to also know that a fine reader ought to get his facts right. Putting forth a claim without substantiating it with facts and evidences and past records is rather unorthodox and unbecoming. This portray that the author merely knows how to talk but then again empty vessel does make the most noise.

History has shown that there was a time there is peace in Palestine. And in fact there was much of Palestine as a country before than it is now.

Yes, the pain and suffering still continue to exist, but shouldn't the author being now a graduate from a law faculty, use his mental reasoning ( presuming it still works) to give comments and legal thoughts on the present issue. Shame on you blogger.

On a more insolent tone. i would say the author@Mr Rubbish has to know the very sense of what prayers are and what having faith is. 4th geneva Convention

The Fourth Geneva Convention on Rules of War was adopted August 12, 1949 by the international community in response to Nazi atrocities during World War II. It was ratified by Israel in 1951. The international treaty governs the treatment of civilians during wartime, including hostages, diplomats, spies, bystanders and civilians in territory under military occupation. The convention outlaws torture, collective punishment and the resettlement by an occupying power of its own civilians on territory under its military control. In the fifty years since its adoption, the Fourth Geneva Convention has never been used to condemn world atrocities including those in Bosnia, Rwanda, Kosovo, Congo, Tibet, and other afflicted places.

The Geneva Conventions consist of four treaties formulated in Geneva, Switzerland, that set the standards for international law for humanitarian concerns.

They chiefly concern the treatment of non-combatants and prisoners of war. They do not affect the use of weapons in war, which are covered by the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907 and the Geneva Protocol on the use of gas and biological weapons of 1925 (The 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees is also referred to as "the Geneva Convention", but it is not part of these four).

The Conventions were the results of efforts by Henry Dunant, who was motivated by the horrors of war he witnessed at the Battle of Solferino in 1859. In 1977 and 2005 three separate amendments were made part of the Geneva Conventions.

The adoption of the First Convention followed the foundation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1863. The text is given the title Resolutions of the Geneva International Conference, Geneva, 26–29 October 1863.

As of 2 August 2006, when the Republic of Montenegro adopted the four conventions, they have been ratified by 194 countries.

The conventions and their agreements

PART I
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1
The High Contracting Parties undertake to respect and to ensure respect for the present Convention in all circumstances.

Article 2
In addition to the provisions which shall be implemented in peacetime, the present Convention shall apply to all cases of declared war or of any other armed conflict which may arise between two or more of the High Contracting Parties, even if the state of war is not recognized by one of them.

The Convention shall also apply to all cases of partial or total occupation of the territory of a High Contracting Party, even if the said occupation meets with no armed resistance.

Although one of the Powers in conflict may not be a party to the present Convention, the Powers who are parties thereto shall remain bound by it in their mutual relations. They shall furthermore be bound by the Convention in relation to the said Power, if the latter accepts and applies the provisions thereof.

Article 3
In the case of armed conflict not of an international character occurring in the territory of one of the High Contracting Parties, each Party to the conflict shall be bound to apply, as a minimum, the following provisions:

1. Persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms and those placed hors de combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause, shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, without any adverse distinction founded on race, colour, religion or faith, sex, birth or wealth, or any other similar criteria.

To this end, the following acts are and shall remain prohibited at any time and in any place whatsoever with respect to the above-mentioned persons:

(a) Violence to life and person, in particular murder of all kinds, mutilation, cruel treatment and torture;

(b) Taking of hostages;

(c) Outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment;

(d) The passing of sentences and the carrying out of executions without previous judgment pronounced by a regularly constituted court, affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples.

2. The wounded and sick shall be collected and cared for.

An impartial humanitarian body, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, may offer its services to the Parties to the conflict.

The Parties to the conflict should further endeavour to bring into force, by means of special agreements, all or part of the other provisions of the present Convention.

The application of the preceding provisions shall not affect the legal status of the Parties to the conflict.

Article 4
Persons protected by the Convention are those who, at a given moment and in any manner whatsoever, find themselves, in case of a conflict or occupation, in the hands of a Party to the conflict or Occupying Power of which they are not nationals.

Nationals of a State which is not bound by the Convention are not protected by it. Nationals of a neutral State who find themselves in the territory of a belligerent State, and nationals of a co-belligerent State, shall not be regarded as protected persons while the State of which they are nationals has normal diplomatic representation in the State in whose hands they are.

The provisions of Part II are, however, wider in application, as defined in Article 13.

Persons protected by the Geneva Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field of August 12, 1949, or by the Geneva Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of Wounded, Sick and Shipwrecked Members of Armed Forces at Sea of August 12, 1949, or by the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War of August 12, 1949, shall not be considered as protected persons within the meaning of the present Convention

Since 1997 the Arab group at the United Nations has been trying to invoke the Fourth Geneva Convention against Israel, in regard to its settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and in particular at Har Homa in Jerusalem

Meanwhile, the Article Three of the Declaration indicates that everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person, while such rights are totally breached by the Zionist regime.

It is high time for Sleeping-lah Beauty to wake up from slumber. It is not matter whether he wants but really a matter that he must.

If his coalition wants to regain back their dignity then he has to maneuver his campaign the right way.. (if there is any).

But on lesser skill, lets go this uni in KL famous for its history and its Islamization. The motto of the uni is par excellence and the teaching staff and academicians are worthy of respects and honour. But, my goodness its staff is so rude. I came across a staff in a faculty's office who ought to be back at the office by 2.00 p.m. but was there by 2.30 p.m.. My that is rather shameful, even the academicians here find them frustrating.

Likewise are the officers in the administration offices who would sit all day lepaking and speak in a very harsh and rude tone to students coming for help..is that the right way?the ethical way? rather sad really.

but anyhow, u give credits to the hardworking and dedicated staff.. ada yang baguih..depa pun buat kerja.. nie la nak habaq mai kat kat satu staff nie kat satu faculty yang meng-upholdkan- justice, jangan nak pandai melawa dan berdandan saja, hang nak buat cam tu aku tarak kisah bhai, tapi kerek semacam. dan lah badan die tu besar tong dram mulut die pergggh manyak kureng di ajar. PKPIM KECAM SERANGAN KE ATAS GAZA

Persatuan Kebangsaan Pelajar Islam Malaysia (PKPIM) mengecam sekeras-kerasnya segala bentuk serangan yang dilakukan oleh tentera Israel terhadap bumi Gaza . Dalam laporan akhbar Berita Harian pada 2 Januari 2009, serangan yang telah masuk hari ke enam itu telah mengorbankan 410 penduduk awam Palestin dan mengakibatkan 1,900 yang lain cedera.

Jumlah angka kematian ini menjelaskan kepada kita bahawa serangan yang dilakukan regim Israel tersebut bertujuan untuk mencari jalan supaya berlakunya pembersihan etnik secara besar-besaran terhadap penduduk Islam Gaza dan wajib ditentang oleh masyarakat dunia.

Dalam pada itu, PKPIM turut mengutuk alasan yang digunakan Israel untuk menghalalkan serangan. Serangan atas alasan untuk membunuh aktivis Hamas adalah suatu yang tidak masuk akal memandangkan serangan tersebut dilakukan secara terang-terangan ke atas kawasan bandar dan perumahan yang diduduki oleh ramai penduduk awam.

Sementara itu, PKPIM turut menggesa seluruh pihak khususnya Majlis Keselamatan PBB dan Persidangan Negara Islam (OIC) untuk melakukan sesuatu untuk mendesak regim zionis menghentikan serangan. Atas dasar kemanusiaan dan persaudaraan Islam, sudah tiba masanya badan dunia seperti PBB dan OIC serta Kesatuan Eropah (EU) bersuara secara lantang dan mengenakan sekatan politik dan ekonomi terhadap Israel.

Serangan Israel ini merupakan bibit permulaan kepada peperangan besar-besaran dan PKPIM tidak menolak kemungkinan siri peperangan yang berlaku antara Arab – Israel yang berlaku sekitar tahun 1973 akan meletus kembali.

Dalam perkembangan berkaitan, PKPIM turut menyelar kedegilan kerajaan Mesir pimpinan Hosni Mubarak untuk membuka sempadan Gaza melalui pintu lintasan Rafah. Keengganan ini sebenarnya telah membantu kepungan wilayah Gaza oleh Israel memandangkan penduduk awam Gaza tidak dapat lari ke sempadan Mesir untuk mencari tempat perlindungan.

Thousands of Israeli troops backed by columns of tanks and helicopter gunships launched a ground offensive in Gaza Saturday night, with officials saying they expected a lengthy fight in the densely populated territory after eight days of punishing airstrikes failed to halt 'militant' rocket attacks on Israel.

A clear distinction must be made on definition of a militant and a freedom fighter. Here, the acts of the Palestinian defending their families, their homes, the places of education and the Mosque are acts of self-defence, the acts of a freedom fighter. On the contrary, the Zionist are the merciless terrorist who kills innocent civilians, mothers, children, the old, the sick the needy etc.. King Abdullah had earlier ordered a shipment of medical supplies to Gaza as well as air ambulances to transport the injured Palestinians to specialist Saudi hospitals for treatment.

Nine injured Palestinians arrived in the Saudi Arabia on board an air ambulance on Thursday night.

On Friday King Abdullah visited two seriously wounded Palestinians who had been admitted to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. Also on Friday, the fifth consignment of Saudi medical aid was dispatched to the Palestinian Red Crescent at the Rafah crossing.

Now, on more pressing issue. We have the Mr.Bush aka Mr. Buffoon aka Anti-Muslim having the guts to give statements supporting the acts of Israel. May Allah give him guidance if not destroy him.

GAZA Hospitals Lack Medicines and Staff Date : 29/12/2008 Time : 16:43

GAZA, December 29, 2008 (WAFA)- At least 320 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed and 1400 wounded in the continuous Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Medical sources reported. Gaza hospitals are unable to cope with the large numbers of casualties, and are running out of equipment.

According to sources from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), hospital operating rooms are overflowing, and are running out of essential medicines. They are also understaffed and unable to cope with the large numbers of casualties. Hospitals are being overloaded with patients and are running out of room and supplies. Hospitals in the Gaza Strip have suffered severe shortages of supplies over past 18-month-blockade and are not equipped to receive this number of casualties.

Red Crescent medical staff in Gaza reported that wounded people are lying in the streets of Gaza City. The only aid they receive is from by-passers.

Egypt has opened the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip to evacuate injured people. Twenty ambulances have been sent along with medical personnel to the crossing and two Egyptian hospitals were emptied to take in the Palestinian wounded.

Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive around 100 PRCS volunteers, 60 medics and 120 medical staff were actively involved to provide emergency care in Gaza Strip. The activities have focused on evacuating the wounded, providing first aid and triage, transferring the wounded to hospitals, and hospital care at PRCS hospitals in Gaza and Khan Younis South of Gaza

“The Government should consider introducing only a one school system with Bahasa Malaysia as the medium of instruction, except for the teaching of Science and Mathematics, which is already in English,” Mukhriz told reporters at Parliament House yesterday.

“Of course, pupils should then be given the option to study their mother tongue. Under this system, the Malays will also have the option of studying other languages like Chinese and Tamil, and this will further boost unity among the races,” the Umno Youth exco member added.

I do agree with Mukriz on the account that there should only a one school system with Bahasa Malaysia as the medium of instruction. In fact, I’ll go beyond as to say it is a MUST!!!. But sadly, I do disagree on the second motion of using English as a medium for teaching Science and Math. It is the most atrocious disgrace from a person coming from a party which claims to fight and serve the Malays. Firstly, I do not condone racial politics and second UMNO in these past years has always been a bag of lies.. But I have to give applause to this man as he sincerely believes that vernacular schools are a hinder towards this country’s unity.

In no moment after, comes the ‘biggest hero’ from MCA. Like Nazri, he is too a coward. Well, he is a despicable coward who is also another hypocrite. MCA president Datuk Ong Tee Keat has wasted no time in condemning Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir's suggestion to abolish vernacular schools."Mukhriz is just one of the many who are now repeating the same polemics that are a few decades old, simply because of the advent of their party's poll," the Transport Minister said."It is saddening because politicians cannot think out of the box," he wrote in a blog posting. I really hope when he said on thinking outside the box he actually is in all sincerity talking about himself. Please, someone or anyone enlighten this moronic mountain on two paramount issues ( considering he has a brain to think, whether he uses it, that is totally another issue ) ; ministerial responsibility and using the thinking cap for the country instead of gaining short-term popularity. I understand it is the becoming trend of many politicians ( I must say, this pathetic lots are Mr. Yes Say Men and We Say Yes To Cronyism ) and Tee Keat is one of its ardent followers.
The only way to integrate all Malaysians regardless of race, creeds and religion is the national school. If it is true, vernacular schools are not the virus that has brought forward to us racial desegregation why do we still have sparks of tension among the races. But, at least, Mr. Tee Keat here is proud of his mother-tongues unlike the other ungrateful monkeys who claims to fight for Ketuanan Melayu and another buffoon@baghal who uses the ‘keris’ and at the same time, throwing our national language ( his own mother-tongue) down the drain. This is what I call cakap tak serupa bikin.

Ladies and gentlemen, racial politics is irrelevant. I am all in for an Islamic State with Islamic laws. But, after 50 years of independence, there is still a mild hatred among the races. We have to analyze this very carefully. The constitution clearly safeguards the National Language and Bahasa Malaysia is the national language. If one is really a Malaysian, then start speaking it and using it. I do not see a single problem why is it so difficult for a one school system with Bahasa Malaysia. It does not act to deprive the right for one to use his own mother-tongue as be it Mandarin or Tamil as these languages can be thought in the national school. Kalau dah nak jadi Bangsa Malaysia, maka haruslah belajar Bahasa Malaysia dan vernacular school haruslah di-scrap off. What do Tee Keat suggest then if he says think out-side the box. Give your reasons and solutions. Well, then again, empty vessels make the most noise. But, this bloody empty vessel is a making a hell of unnecessary whines. Is just like giving a monkey a banana, only worse.
But, this story gets better..even more juicier with a twist in it. Here comes the Mr. Najib. "It is important for the Chinese and Indian communities to have these schools because it is where they instill values (in their children)," said Najib. In very crude style, this is total utter nonsence. Well, I felt astounded, but not surprised.

Dear readers, a single education system in schools that uses Bahasa Malaysia as the medium of instruction is the only remedy to the problem of polarisation amongst multi-racial Malaysians.
Vernacular schools, has not help in solving this problem and has in fact hamper national unity, and the issue is not only about language, but more important is the unity which must exist among the different races. The Malay language is not all about Malay supremacy. It is NOT AT ALL. But, it is all about being a Malaysian is all about. Unless, one prefers to go to Timbuktu. Bahasa Malaysia is enshrined in the constitution, OUR CONSTITUTION. This is the language meant for Malaysians. I’m not saying that, I do not appreciate Mandarin or Tamil. But, a single school system which uses Bahasa Malaysia as its medium is not a tool to deny the existence of these languages, but as a mode to enhance the unity among Malaysians.

But, I must say at least, MCA is proud of their mother-tongue. Something that UMNO should learn from. As a learned friend of mine said, first you scrap off jawi, now using English as medium of teaching Math and Science in English, what is next ?
